I’ve run businesses. I’ve been in the trenches. I’ve hustled, tried every trick in the book, and done whatever it takes to get my product in front of people.

Back in uni, I built a restaurant marketplace with zero budget. No investors, no ad spend, barely enough money for dinner. I had to figure out how to get traction from nothing. So I did what any scrappy founder would do. I got creative.

I went where my customers were. I posted reviews on Zomato, a popular restaurant review app, and dropped my app link at the end of every post. I bribed Uber Eats drivers with $50 each to slip a flyer for my app into their delivery bags. That small hustle turned into hundreds of downloads.

These growth hacks worked. I’d get a viral acquisition bump, watching new users flood in. But I knew that wasn’t enough. I would manually follow up with every customer, making sure they became an advocate for us—because I knew that was the real key to sustainable growth.

That’s when I realized there had to be a better way.

I’m tired of brands throwing $5 discounts at customers and calling it “word of mouth.” I’m done watching organic growth get treated like an afterthought.

The best brands aren’t built through bigger ad budgets. They’re built by people talking. By friends sharing with friends. By customers who love something enough to spread the word.
